Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
Who we are
Next Gear Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates nextgearlabs.com (the "Site"). We provide AI training and marketing automation services for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect on the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Questions? Email lance@nextgearlabs.com.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, work email, company, role, the tools you use, and your message.
- Information collected automatically. With your consent, we and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect device identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and general location, to understand how the Site is used and to measure and improve our marketing.
In terms used by California law, this may include: identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity information, general geolocation data, and inferences drawn from the above.
Cookies, pixels & advertising technology
With your consent, the Site may use analytics and advertising technologies provided by third parties, which may include Google (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (such as the Meta Pixel), and similar analytics, advertising, or customer-relationship platforms. These technologies may collect information about your visit and share it with the third party that provides them, who may use it for their own purposes, including advertising measurement and audience building. Depending on how the law defines it, this disclosure may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
Non-essential tracking is off by default on this Site. These technologies load only after you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the link in the footer of every page.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide our services
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site
- To understand Site usage and measure the effectiveness of our marketing (with consent)
- To advertise our services, including measuring ad performance (with consent)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 or sell or share their personal information.
How we share information
- Service providers that help us run the business (hosting, form processing, email, scheduling, CRM), bound to use the information only for us
- Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta), only with your consent, as described above
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services
We do not sell personal information for money.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including if you are a California resident — you have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we have about you
- Delete personal information we collected from you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information — use the link in our footer, or decline in the cookie banner
- Non-discrimination — we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing: if your browser sends GPC, non-essential tracking stays off automatically.
To exercise any of these rights, email lance@nextgearlabs.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request using the email address you contact us from and any information reasonably necessary, and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent by providing signed permission.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions as long as needed to respond and maintain our business relationship, and analytics data for the retention period configured in the relevant tool. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Managing cookies
Beyond our cookie banner, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings, and you can opt out of certain advertising cookies at optout.aboutads.info and analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated effective date.
